OneSport OT02 Pro Folding Electric Bike

Buy a folding e-bike for the part of your journey where it must fold. Carrying it upstairs, putting it in a car and parking it in a small hallway are three different jobs. Ahead of Black Friday 2026, XVELO’s current choices range from the €519 OneSport OT02 Pro to the €899 APEFOX RH20 preorder. The cheapest suitable bike is the one that fits your storage and lifting limits, not necessarily the one with the largest battery.

Prices checked on 30 October 2026 are XVELO’s public EUR product prices, without a discount code. A listing here does not imply a new Black Friday reduction or the lowest market price. Select your delivery country and configuration before ordering; check the final tax, shipping and delivery information at checkout. Delivery conditions and brand-specific returns apply.

First decide how often you will lift it

The OT02 Pro’s published net weight is 17.18kg. That is materially less than the OT16-2’s 29.7kg or the OT16 Max’s 31.45kg. The RH20 is listed at 37.5kg. Accessories and the exact weighing basis matter, but the difference is large enough to shape your shortlist. For daily stairs, start with the OT02 Pro and judge whether even that weight is comfortable for you.

For ground-floor storage, you may accept more mass in exchange for larger tyres and battery capacity. For a car, measure the boot opening as well as the space inside. Check the current folded dimensions for the selected version and leave room for pedals, handlebars and anything else you carry. Do not infer fit from a photograph.

Four folding choices, four different compromises

Model and configuration Listed price What matters for your purchase
OneSport OT02 ProGreen €519 187.2Wh battery and 20 × 1.35-inch tyres; lighter compact choice for shorter trips and regular charging.
OneSport OT16-2Beige / OT16-2 €639 816Wh nominal battery and 20 × 3-inch tyres; storage-friendly but not a lightweight carry.
OneSport OT16 MaxBeige €809 864Wh nominal battery, 20 × 4-inch tyres and hydraulic brakes; a wider, heavier package.
APEFOX RH20 preorderGreen / Ships from 13th November €899 48V 22.5Ah, dual motors and 20 × 4-inch tyres; the orderable green variant says ships from 13 November.

Does a larger battery make the Max the obvious upgrade?

No. The OT16 Max costs €170 more than the OT16-2 at these listed prices, but its nominal battery energy is only about 6% greater: 864Wh versus 816Wh. The reason to consider it is the wider tyre and braking package, not the assumption that “Max” means dramatically longer range. Different weight, tyres and riding conditions prevent a direct energy-to-distance comparison.

The OT02 Pro makes the opposite trade: substantially less stored energy in a lighter bike. It has torque-sensing pedal assistance and seven gears, so it should not be dismissed merely because it lacks a large battery. Match the battery to your route and charging access rather than buying unused capacity to carry upstairs.

Ordering the RH20 means planning around a dispatch date

The green RH20 that is currently orderable is labelled for dispatch from 13 November. The separate “ships within 24 hours” option is unavailable. A dispatch date is not a delivery date; allow for transit and destination arrangements, especially if you need the bike before a specific weekend. Its dual-motor, wide-tyre construction is a different proposition from a lightweight city folder.

A short checklist for the folding mechanism

  • Ask for folded length, width and height for the actual version you will receive.
  • Check how the latch locks and whether the manual specifies inspection or adjustment.
  • Confirm whether your rail or bus operator accepts the folded bike; folding alone does not guarantee carriage.
  • Plan how you will secure and support the bike in a car without stressing the cables or display.

The OneSport OT12 is not on this list because its step-through city frame is not a folding design. If you never need to fold a bike, compare a full-size alternative in our sub-€800 Black Friday buying guide.

For public-road riding, check the exact delivered configuration and your country’s requirements before buying. An EU shipping option, a speed setting or a CE mark alone is not proof that a vehicle qualifies for your intended route. Ask for the applicable documentation; treat high-output configurations as off-road choices unless their road eligibility is established.

For the specifications behind this comparison, consult the OneSport OT16 Max information and the exact XVELO version selector. Our shortlist compares documented products, not an independent hands-on folding test.
