Black Friday E-Bikes Under €800: Five Buying Choices for Europe (2026)
Our editorial approach
XVELO is an electric-mobility retailer and sells some of the products discussed. We distinguish manufacturer specifications, attributable third-party sources and editorial analysis. A review title does not establish an XVELO hands-on test; look for a named source and method in the article.
For a sub-€800 product-price budget, the useful choice is not simply the bike with the biggest motor number. XVELO currently lists the compact OneSport OT02 Pro at €519, the folding OT16-2 at €639, the full-size DUOTTS C29 Lite at €649 and the C29-M EU single-battery version at €699. A grey OneSport OT12 PRO is also orderable at €619. They solve different problems: carrying, storage, everyday full-size riding or frame fit.
This is a Black Friday shortlist from XVELO’s range, not a claim that we have ridden every model or that each price is a new seasonal reduction. Black Friday falls on 27 November; a suitable bike available now can be a better purchase than waiting for an unconfirmed saving.
Prices checked on 30 October 2026 are XVELO’s public EUR product prices, without a discount code. A listing here does not imply a new Black Friday reduction or the lowest market price. Select your delivery country and configuration before ordering; check the final tax, shipping and delivery information at checkout. Delivery conditions and brand-specific returns apply.
What your budget currently buys
| Model and configuration | Listed price | What matters for your purchase |
|---|---|---|
| OneSport OT02 ProGreen | €519 | 20-inch wheels, torque-sensing assistance and a 187.2Wh battery. The compact, lower-battery option. |
| OneSport OT16-2Beige / OT16-2 | €639 | 48V 17Ah battery and 20 × 3-inch tyres; folds for storage, but is substantially heavier. |
| OneSport OT12 PROGray / OT12 PRO (no throttle) | €619 | Full-size step-through city format. Select grey OT12 PRO, not an unavailable classic OT12. |
| DUOTTS C29 LiteBlack | €649 | 36V 13Ah battery, 27.5-inch wheels and mechanical disc brakes; a non-folding alternative. |
| DUOTTS C29-M EU, single batteryC29 M / Single Battery / EU | €699 | 48V 15Ah battery and the smaller C29 frame/wheel option. The €699 price is for M, not Pro or dual battery. |
If the bike must come upstairs, start with the OT02 Pro
The OT02 Pro’s published 17.18kg weight makes it the sensible first comparison when lifting is unavoidable. Its torque sensor changes assistance with pedal effort, while seven gears give you a mechanical choice when the gradient changes. The compromise is energy storage: 187.2Wh is much less than the OT16-2’s nominal 816Wh. A short trip with regular charging suits that trade better than relying on a long advertised range.
Measure the stairs and storage location, and consider whether you can lift that weight safely. “Folding” does not turn any of these bikes into hand luggage. The manufacturer's OT02 Pro and older 16-inch OT02 are different models; do not use the older bike’s lower weight for this purchase.

If storage matters more than lifting, compare the OT16-2
The OT16-2 puts a larger battery and wider 20 × 3-inch tyres into a folding frame. That is an attractive balance for a ground-floor flat or car storage, where reducing the bike’s footprint matters more than carrying it far. Its published net weight is 29.7kg before all accessories. The two bikes should not be described as equally portable.
The current XVELO selector also offers an OT16 PRO at the same public price. Select the version deliberately: the PRO is sold without throttle installation capability. Do not assume a single shared product page means identical controls or equipment.
For a full-size ride, compare Lite, M and the available OT12 version
The C29 Lite is a separate model with a 36V battery system; it is not simply a smaller C29 Pro. At €649 it leaves €151 of an €800 product budget before any destination charges or accessories. The C29-M costs €50 more and carries a 48V 15Ah battery. The nominal stored energy difference, 468Wh versus 720Wh, is useful context, but it cannot predict the same percentage increase in real riding distance.
The grey OT12 PRO is worth considering if stepping through the frame is more important than folding it. The classic OT12 options are unavailable at this check, so the table links directly to the orderable PRO configuration. OT05 starts at €809 and therefore stays outside this strict sub-€800 list, even though a separate coupon might sometimes change a checkout total.
Spend the remaining money where it improves ownership
- Fit: check saddle adjustment, reach and standover rather than choosing a frame from wheel diameter alone.
- Security: budget for a suitable lock and a secure parking location.
- Servicing: decide who will adjust the brakes, gears and spokes after delivery.
- Charging: use the supplied compatible charger and confirm where the battery can be stored and charged.
Before choosing a Black Friday offer
For public-road riding, check the exact delivered configuration and your country’s requirements before buying. An EU shipping option, a speed setting or a CE mark alone is not proof that a vehicle qualifies for your intended route. Ask for the applicable documentation; treat high-output configurations as off-road choices unless their road eligibility is established.
Germany, France, Italy and Poland have different rules beyond the basic pedelec category. The European Commission’s cycle definitions distinguish ordinary pedal assistance from faster vehicles. In particular, choose the EU C29 configuration for this comparison; the shared page’s international option is not interchangeable evidence of road eligibility.
Ask about your postcode and return arrangements before paying. Our return policy differs by brand and condition of the returned bike. A factory warranty does not mean every local workshop will perform free labour.
Our buying order: choose OT02 Pro for a lighter compact package, OT16-2 when folding and battery capacity matter more than lifting, C29 Lite for a simpler full-size choice, and C29-M when its fit and battery justify the extra €50. Choose the available OT12 PRO if a step-through city frame answers your everyday needs better.
Compare other budgets and vehicle types in the XVELO Black Friday price guide. It brings together current product prices and the buying questions to settle before ordering.
